I don't think Putler will survive the war. I suspect he's gonna pull one final Adolf move
During Prigos march there were reports the Kremlin were actively calling the few countries they still had some relationship with. So it looked like he was considering escape for a moment.
Dude's got cancer, apparently. He'll decide to go out on his own terms; I hope he doesn't take too many actual humans with him.
News. Probably BBC as I consume a lot of that. Maybe al-jezeera.
I certainly don't maintain a citation list for everything I read just so I can regurgitate pieces for free for some lazy git who's never heard of Google. :-P
I really hope that international support for Ukraine is extended for help with mine clearance after the war.
I have unfortunately spent a lot of time among certain kinds of nutjobs who don't want to support Ukraine, and they generally tend to avoid highlighting Putin's responsibility and sticking to the talking point of "sending weapons is bad". If you haven't seen those trends, great for you, unironically, because their hypocrisy is pretty annoying.
It would be nice if we would be this loud every time someone attacks sovereign country and not only when we don't like an attacker.
You can say whatever you want but some people see it as west set up Ukraine to fight their war, commenting without acknowledging that is just ignorant. You know very well that no body supports Putin, just discussing different ideas. Plain old gasliting.
That's about the size of it. You can't even point out NATO war crimes or say that maybe peace would be good for Ukraine without being told (never asked) that you support Putin.
Is there anything else you'd like to attribute to me that I haven't actually said?
Also, I'm not sure that you know what cognitive dissonance means. It does not apply to the scenario that you have concocted.
You can, just not in a thread specifically about Ukraine. It's off topic at best and really looks like whataboutism. But I suspect you know that already.
Oh goodness did I dehumanize the invaders? How rude of me
Fuck you and fuck Russia lol
This isn't Dungeons & Dragons, it's poor bastards on both sides. Their intention is to dehumanise; they might as well be calling them rats. Most of the mines are likely defensive and were laid by Ukraine anyway.
Well, yeah. That doesn't mean I support the invasion. But the human cost isn't negated by the politics of the leadership, is it. They aren't orcs, they're humans - poor, young, and conscripted. Why people take pleasure from a teenager bleeding out while he calls for his mother just because he's on the wrong side, I will never understand. Unless he's literally just been firing at you, there's really no excuse for that kind of inhumanity.
