City Council approves Centennial Corridor contract

The Bakersfield City Council approved a $27 million contract Thursday to build the next installment of the Centennial Corridor project connecting Highways 99 and 58.
TL;DR: they're finally going to build the connector ramps for the eastbound to northbound connection and the southbound to westbound connection.
Construction starts Nov. 2024 with an expected completion date of June 2026.
