It's tragic that one of our biggest fights was over the lumber at fairy Creek where some of this may have been taken; that so many people joined in protest when it appears to have been just a power grab.
I say "lumber" only because I think this is about logging rights and not forest preservation: all the organizational players have a huge financial stake in this and I worry it's nothing more.
