That’s awesome. Considering that Alaska is an afterthought on most maps of the U.S., this seems only fair.
Sort of? "It's a tiny section of our population" is a pretty legit reason to pay less attention, though.
I'm surprised Hawaii isn't a lot bigger. Seems like those two states would team up on maps.
I'm torn. Alaska is about 100 times the size of Hawaii, so this seems about right. But also I like the thought of enormous Hawaii besides very big Alaska.
They made Hawaii about the same size as the other 48 combined though. I guess that's something.
On the one hand, Mauna Loa is misspelled and misplaced. On the other hand, the big island is now the bigger-than-Texas island, and I enjoy that.
I'm fine with treating the lower 48 like this, but the Great Lakes did nothing to deserve their erasure!
