Such a wasted opportunity to design the mine like an ancient underground dwarven city to then use as a major tourist destination after the mine closes down or even sell as a usable and livable underground city.
Well, it is a tourist destination without the Dwarven design. It's an amusement park inside of it. (A pretty small amusement park though.)
Going on a tour of this place:
"Over here is the salt wall."
"Oh look, over here is another salt wall as well"
"What's this?? Another salt wall!"
Walking along the catwalk at the top must be pretty wild.
Is that there mostly for maintaining the lights, or is there another function?
Beautiful. I've heard of old mines being turned into warehouse/office space, I'd love to work in a place like that
