Not sure he's big/strong enough, those rock formations are absolutely huge. These things would have to basically be Yggdrasil.
If only there were people who study ancient ecosystems based on evidence that has been left behind. We could read what they have to say and potentially learn something. They would probably debate amongst themselves, try to come up with models that best explain the available evidence, and adjust to new evidence as it is obtained.
Ok clearly this is bat shit, but it would be cool if trees scaled to that size. Like an entire town is under the shade of a single massive tree
It's way easier to believe those formations were trees than it is to accept that something cut them down. (natural tree stumps are rarely flat on the top)
