Watching videos of people screaming "shooter on the roof" at law enforcement
I don't like the extrapolation that Trump is the analog of innocent school children.
And his parents shipped him away to some far off school for being such a little prick.
I don't like the extrapolation that the person that was killed wasn't an innocent victim because they were at a Trump rally.
Uvalde police department wasn't meant to prevent shootings. (Or deal with ongoing ones either, in their opinion)

Also noone can know how many people didn't even try to shoot trump or any (former) president for that matter, because the Secret Service was there with them.
The NRA and the like will probably use this again as an opportunity to demand even more and even bigger weapons for the police, the Secret Service and everyone else. Not that it will do any good, but they'll try anyway, I suppose.
You see, the problem wasn’t that the agents didn’t follow through on tips from the public, or have a marksman on the highest available rooftop for surveillance and counter sniping. No, the issue was that the agents could not simply shoot through the building to get the shooter.

Why not arm everyone in the crown. Good guy with a gun and all. Or, just call it democracy via bullet, that's what they want anyway. Just let the mob shoot it out at every rally.
The RNC responded to this by banning Tennis Balls, but saying guns are okay. I'm not joking.

I love people who think two seconds after someone yells gun a sniper is going to shoot someone. uvalde went on for hours.
Independent of Uvalde, it's generally a bad idea as a sniper to just take someone else's wors that the target you're looking at is hostile. Kinda wanna confirm for yourself before you pull the trigger.
The best part is there was a police officer who climbed the roof and saw the shooter, who threatened him with the gun, so he turned around. Trump got shot because of scaredy-cop.

Trump was incredibly lucky. Shooter guy was also lucky and fairly skilled, but mostly exploited the incompetence or the security. Few cm-s to the right and he would have made history. Though I as an EU citizen would have preferred if he just stayed home. If Trump died, there would already be a civil war, and now he’ll “just” win the election, which is also not great regarding the future support of Ukraine and security of Europe.
I don't think this is going to make the election play out much differently. Trumps crazies were already going to turn out. I'm still going to turn out.

Either his sight was not properly set, or he was not very good with it. Or maybe both.

Secret service ignored him cause he was supposed to be there. The false flag operation was already set in motion.
On a more serious note, he had minutes between being spotted and taking his shot.
The Uvalde shooter had hours.
The fact that he was a right-wing YouTuber does raise some big red flags, though.
