There is someone out there who will still be faster on this than I am on a regular keyboard.
I could see it being possible to use, if they were the spring-loaded momentary toggles, and mounted upside down, so up was off. It would still be horrible, but possible.
Another horrible idea, make just the change in position create a keystroke. That way the orientation doesn't matter
How about it also have 3 stands.
When flicking up it is a capital, flicking down is a regular letter
As someone who had carpal tunnel in both hands that had to be fixed surgically, this would be an absolute nightmare to use. My hands cramp just thinking about it.
Does it, at that specific point, become even crazier?
Ngl, generally I find (non-violent) escalation entertaining.
I bet there's actual gains to be made from the 8-way hat version of this keyboard.
Maybe that can be a useful ideia for someone that has Parkinson or something similar. It seems easier to avoid mistakes while "typing".
