Lemmy has more censorship than Reddit.

The advantage with Lemmy is if you don't like the rules of one server you can jump to another server and still access content. Where if you don't like Reddit rules for content where do you go?

The main communities exist on two servers (lemmy.ml & lemmy.world). If you find the rules of both servers disagreeable, your options are limited.

You can always make a community on one of the other instances.

Too much work for nothing.

Can you give us an example? because i find the opposite to be true. Here on lemmy you’ll just get downvoted, mostly. On reddit you’d catch a ban if the mod doesn’t like what you say.

I can see the post and the comments. That's quite the censorship

.ml is notorious for heavy handed modding. Join world or one of the smaller instances like shitjustworks and then block the .ml instance and you'll be much happier and less frustrated.

I mean you’re posting this on .ml

This community is unmoderated.

.ml has auto filters for words they deem bad that can be a pain even when quoting articles etc and their worldnews is super easy to get heavy handed by

On Reddit I had multiple comments banned and was in multiple (on topic) threads that got locked. Never said anything discriminatory or violent. On Lemmy nope.

Pics or it didnt happen

You're gonna have to get more clearer than that man. Thats just a meme about credit scores.

Counterpoint: your account is only a month old and you’ve already proven to be a pain the the mods’ asses by failing to follow rules : https://lemm.ee/modlog?page=1&userId=10152004

Will prove otherwise. Kill all billionaires

you nailed it, guess you should just go back to reddit, bye!

Incorrect. There was some CP that got left up for days on lemmy due to lack of moderation. That wouldn't happen on reddit.
