So I can tell that this is a logical fallacy because he's suggesting that volunteering for The Hunger Games is the same thing as saying they are good. I'm not sure what this kind of fallacy is called, though. Does anyone else know?

So, I looked through the fallacies on this page: https://iep.utm.edu/fallacy/ I couldn't find any that exactly matched what you're talking about (Your participation in the system implies your assent to the system) but I did find Tu Quoque (Your argument is invalid because you do the thing you're arguing against), which is pretty close (Edit: your to you're)

Possibly a non-sequitor fallacy?

A non sequitur fallacy is a statement or conclusion that does not follow logically from what preceded it. Non sequiturs can be responses that have nothing to do with the conversation or flawed conclusions “based” on what preceded them.

The fallacy is called "it's a meme dude"
