pumpkinwavy playing BR Scam took down the July 8, 2023 Modern Challenge! They went deep on the Fable plan this time. SleepingSnorunt is the runner-up and played BG Yawgmoth, playing The One Ring version of the archetype popularized by Xerk.

  • ltbeast was on BG Yawgmoth. Also on the The One Ring version!

  • NathanOfTheGiltLeaf was on Amulet Titan. Great use of that The One Ring card!

  • mark_68 was on 5c Creativity. Guess it's still good after all!

  • OtherWhiteStuff was on BR Shadow. Ooooo we haven't seen this archetype perform since the printing of Solitude and Dress Down! That's HYPE

  • AlexanderRosdahl was on Abzan Sacrifice. Orcish Bowmasters and Delighted Halfling do this archetype a lot of good, they're both awesome with MH2 all-star Grist the Hunger Tide!

  • deftjad rounds out our T8 with Amulet Titan! The One Ring is really a natural fit in Amulet Titan, oh goodie!

  • In the rest of the 6-2 bracket, I spy aspiringspike the master on Mono B Grief! No Coffers, just linear mana and a cohesive midrange plan augmented by The One Ring!

  • And in the 5-3 bracket, we see more of what we've come to know in these past few weekends!

  • Shoutout to ltbeast for going undefeated in the Swiss!

  • Congrats to pumpkinwavy for taking the tournament down!
