In Thursday night's State of The Union, the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley took center stage. The suspect is a migrant. Republicans say immigration leads to crime, but there's no evidence of that.

If anyone on the right bothered to think about anything ever, they'd realise this as an obvious fact. The amount of work it takes to get here discourages activities that would put it at risk. Maybe natural-born citizens would commit fewer crimes as well, if they could have the right to be here ripped away from them like immigrants can.
