Was browsing through OpenSkiMap and came across this delightful blurb from 1973 about a little local hill in Iowa

That’s where my boys learned to ski! It’s still in operation and owned by the county, with discounts for local residents. They had some growing pains with the transition to public ownership, but it’s still a decent little hill for the Midwest.
