Thrown out? Or donated? Are people really so lazy that they wouldn’t donate unused toys to a charity, church, or shelter?

Yes, they are that lazy.

Honestlyone of the best things you can do, other than not creating waste in the first place, is posting in your local buy nothing group.

To be fair what charity or church wants a pile of easily breakable, low value and low battery toys?

As a parent, the amount of plastic toys that people give as gifts is just insane.

Sometimes it can make sense that something is made of plastic, but many plastic toys could easily be made of wood and have a much smaller impact on the environment.

And then there are the toys that require batteries when all it's doing is playing an annoying song or blocking lights.
