For those who seek a replacement for #Reddit and cannot join any other platforms for whatever reason Since yesterday we also have a #Lemmy and #Kbin instance running :cat_hug_triangle: Keep in mind that Kbin is still in early dev..! ⚠️ Kbin: https://forum.fail Lemmy: https://u.fail If you can please think about supporting my services: https://paypal.me/stuxOS https://patreon.com/mstdn https://ko-fi.com/mstdn https://liberapay.com/mstdn https://opencollective.com/mstdn https://bunq.me/stuxhost
Is it cool to create communities here? Will it work? I like the vibe but total noob to lemmy, don't want to rock the boat or cause problems.
I noticed I'm not seeing communities from .ml, I'm assuming it's because it's defederated. Is there a list available?
The new and improved front page of the internet! Without ads and tracking and a free API for everyone to use.

I don't quite see through now if ufail will remain a Lemmy instance or if that's still open. If it remains a Lemmy instance, I would suggest installing lemmyBB as an additional interface for those who struggle with the Reddit-oriented interface or simply prefer forums.
First off, thanks for running this instance. I run my own Mastodon instance but was too lazy to set up my own Lemmy instance.
Wanted to ask if anyone else is having issues making posts in a remote community? I'm trying to make a new post to the VA-11 HALL-A community (!waifubartending@lemmy.world). When I click on the Create button it'll just sit there and spin indefinitely. Subscribing and votes seem to work just fine, but posts and comments don't.
I've made a comment in !retrogaming@lemmy.world successfully, so it might be something specific to that community.
(Edit: Updated title to reflect that it's one community.)
