First of all, thanks for renewing the cert on this instance! I just logged on and both my Subscribed and All feeds only have posts from Beehaw. Is there an issue with federation? Thanks

Hi! I'm in Germany, but a few years ago I joined sdf.org because I had the feeling sdf-eu was a bit abandoned. I don't remember if I created an account or not. Now that I see - through this lemmy instance - that there are people here, I wanted to take another look.

When I ssh to new@sdf-eu.org I get a prompt for a password instead of the mkacct flow. Is that known/expected? Is this the right channel to ask?

It is great to be a part of SDF, but in Europe! This instance is blazing fast! While I am waiting for federation, I want to wish everyone a lovely evening.
