@lemmy.worldI've been searching around for a copy of the Resolute Letter that Trump left for Biden. The letters are typically released within a few days of entering office but this was never done because Biden wanted to talk to Trump first before doing so.
It's been almost four years. Surely it's been done by now and I can't seem to find any article with the letter or anything on the official White House website. I'm tempted to submit a FOIA request for it but wasn't sure where to start.
I recently learned about LocalSend and was intrigued by how it functioned by only using the WiFi network of the devices. I did not know my LAN had these capabilities.
Now that I've learned about it, I am excited to know if there is anything else I can do with it. Perhaps there could be a way to send prank notifications to all the connected devices, create a private chat room, or have custom LAN parties.
I genuinely do not know anything about how WiFi or LAN in general works in this matter. Is it possible for me to build my own applications that make use of these features? If so, I would love to get a direction on what resources or guides I should be looking for. If not, I would still be happy to use similar pre-built applications.
I often use the word people to mean multiple persons. However, I've noticed that sometimes people will laugh/smirk when I use it. For example, one time I was talking about how my sister and her family/household travel often, saying, "Those people travel a lot," and the person repeated those people and gave a slight laugh. I'm wondering if I may be giving some sort of unintentional implied message when I use that word.
Does the word people mean anything other than multiple persons, such as a group of persons united by a common identity (family, experience, nationality, ethnicity, etc.)?
Or is saying legally/illegally a non needed word in most circumstances sinc th act of trespass is considered an illegal activity?
I know it's been getting worse over time, but I could still find what I needed after some digging.
Recently it's been like 10 minutes of adjusting search terms, still getting completely useless or irrelevant results, and me just giving up afterwards. Other search engines seem just as bad.
Talking about those artists who are world famous and always have their treasured instrument(s) like Willie Nelson and his “Trigger” guitar.
Where do these artists typically store their instruments when not performing? If on tour, do they keep it on the bus or in their room?
I know everyone is different, but just wondering about some examples and/or the general places they’d keep them.
I'm guessing it drives more profits
