How did you guys find the balance between unapologetic queer happiness and the more serious topics in season 2?
Personally I thought they found a balance pretty well. It was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster at times but all of the serious parts had little hints / foreshadowing leading up to them so they weren't much of a shock. (Though still well depicted IMO).
Spoiler Maybe I felt that the slight bit of happiness at the very end with the smiling ect wasn't enough to cover the sadder bits that were just discussed, which worries me a bit for S3, having not read the books yet. What are your thoughts?

The Netflix show may be aimed at teens but it has a special appeal for some older fans.
Season 2 is close – how are you going to watch it?
Are you going to binge watch the whole thing? Savour every episode? Read the webcomic again to compare every last detail?
I'll probably do my usual approach – plan to stretch it out and then end up binging it anyway.
Ngl this post is partly to create some activity and thus visibility, so that maybe we can gather enough people to have discussion threads. I'd love that.
