Basically I was looking for lemmy and mbin versions of https://piefed.social/c/playground - as I set up my single user instance, it would be good to have a test magazine where I can make test posts and test comments without bothering the users of a real community.

Hello everyone!

I took a decision a few days back to move AskMbin to fedia.io thanks to registrations opening back up again, but I have now decided against it and we will stick here as the whole point of federation is not to overpopulate one server and centralizing ourselves, yes fedia.io is the biggest server on mbin right now but that shouldn't matter thanks to federation and I've decided to focus on organic growth here moving forward.

Another issue with fedia.io is that due to it being an older server, it has a lot of inactive accounts and inactive mods on inactive subs, thebrainbin being a newer and smaller server in comparison, we can start fresh and not be worried about inactive old accounts and spam with active moderation and administration moving forward.

That being said our subscribers who have joined us so far in our fedia.io server can continue to contribute and take part in our community here thanks to federation!
