@lemmy.blahaj.zoneI need to say this, because the ableism in the comments is getting out of hand, just because somebody is disabled doesn't mean that they can't do the exact same job as an abled person with the same exact performance. For example, somebody who is missing a leg can do an office job just as well as somebody who has both legs, and somebody who's blind can be just as good as a software engineer as somebody who has 20/20 vision.
Or instead of continuing to treat disabled people as less than, the government actually creates some anti-discrimination laws with some teeth and then enforces them
Warnings are great, sometimes I'm not in the right head space to watch those kind of scenes. I usually just don't watch the episode until I feel it won't affect me. This is also why doesthedogdie is a very useful resource for me
They are trying to cater to the independent voters, not republicans. This is smart because independent voters have decided elections in several states before
USA is the number 1 polluter per capita already. Think about how much more USA would pollute under Trump and then try to tell that that wouldn't negatively affect the world
Apparently, the average American buys new clothes every week. That's not fucking sustainable, that's for sure
