@lemmygrad.mlfrom their most recent charter:
Hamas affirms that its conflict is with the Zionist project not with the Jews because of their religion. Hamas does not wage a struggle against the Jews because they are Jewish but wages a struggle against the Zionists who occupy Palestine. Yet, it is the Zionists who constantly identify Judaism and the Jews with their own colonial project and illegal entity.
Hamas rejects the persecution of any human being or the undermining of his or her rights on nationalist, religious or sectarian grounds. Hamas is of the view that the Jewish problem, anti-Semitism and the persecution of the Jews are phenomena fundamentally linked to European history and not to the history of the Arabs and the Muslims or to their heritage. The Zionist movement, which was able with the help of Western powers to occupy Palestine, is the most dangerous form of settlement occupation which has already disappeared from much of the world and must disappear from Palestine.
These are the ones who put up Baphomet Statues next to nativity scenes and shit like that.
the statues kick ass btw and caused Oklahoma's supreme court to rule that the ten commandments monument violated the state's constitution lol
yea I'm not about to defend a billionaire but the no mask thing is so weird. Like I still wear a mask when I go out to the store or whatever and have never (even going back to 2020) had anyone be like "bwuh??? I can't understand you because of your mask"
They think that among many Russian EW systems the truck-mounted Shipovnic-Aero (pictured) is proving especially deadly to Ukrainian drones. The system has a 10km range and can take over control of the drone, while acquiring the co-ordinates of the place from where it is being piloted, with an accuracy of one metre, for transmission to an artillery battery.
lol damn that's pretty impressive
maybe it's because I'm an old geezer compared to the average twitch viewer but I honestly don't understand the appeal of these streamers. It must be some kind of parasocial thing
and every once in a while I'll see a clip where some popular streamer is talking, little "donation" messages show up on the screen and I'm reminded that people who are presumably much less wealthy than the streamer routinely donate money to them and it just breaks my brain
that whole weather balloon embarrassment
speaking of that, even though the US has openly admitted that the balloon wasn't a surveillance device and didn't collect any data, just yesterday my local news station was still calling it a "spy balloon" lol
It's really telling that when faced with any information that runs counter to the classic China Bad narrative, libs immediately resort to "this person must have been paid to say this." Their brains have been steeped in capitalism for so long they can't imagine someone praising e.g. China's poverty alleviation programs without some kind of financial incentive. And then, like clockwork, even this post has an "aUtHoRiTaRiAn ReGiMe" comment. These people would rather plug their ears and yell "LA LA LA CAN'T HEAR YOU" than approach China with an open mind. Shameful
man like 13 years ago I uploaded a short clip from an 80s film to youtube and it was fine until last year when the clip got reported, my account got a strike and then was locked until I did their ridiculous "content creator school" or whatever it's called. It treats you like a child and then you have to take the world's most condescending quiz. I was so insulted I just abandoned the account and made a new one lol. Like hell am I gonna waste my time with that shit
there was a bill in California last year that would have required dialysis clinics to have a doctor/nurse/PA present during patient treatments, and they would have to get permission from the state's department of health before they could close clinics or reduce patient services, among other things like having to provide the state with a list of people who had more than 5% ownership interest in the clinic. Of course private health companies like DaVita spent more than $75 million buying ads that were just thinly-veiled threats like "hey you love your family members with kidney disease, right? It would be a shame if we just closed all these clinics..." and so of course the bill failed with almost 70% of people voting no.
idk how anyone can consider this country a democracy
