That's what I'm seeing.
If we apply equal standards to both of them, then Hasan didn't call Netanyahu a war criminal and Stein didn't call Putin a war criminal. They both do this weird word dance around the topic.
They're both really frustrating here.
Never assume they're not just stupid.
Like, yeah, class interests and donor pressure and cultural bias etc etc. Ignoring all of that, some of them are just useful idiots.
I'm on a production line and drinking 32 oz of water every two hours. I have production requirements to meet targets. I don't have time for that shit, and furthermore, it's hot as fuck and I'd rather kill myself than go back to masking at work. I did that shit for a year and had close calls with heat. Fuck that.
We do not live in a world that makes masking viable in all situations. We live under capitalism. If I had air conditioning at work I think I'd do it, but if it's 90+ and all I have is a fan that I can't feel on my face the stress will cause me to get myself fired. Or go to prison.
It's a fact that they have an extremely high false-positive rate. Whether that's intentional or not doesn't change the fact that it serves law enforcement's interests.
The water isn't really consumed. It's not like the servers are digesting it or boiling it away or something. Doesn't the water just cycle through the system and then come out warm on the other side? There's no reason for that water to go to waste!
Seems like these data centers are just dumping perfectly potable drinking water because it's slightly cheaper than having their own water supply and cooling ponds.
