All of those either weaken hospitals or overload them. If the hospitals are overloaded, you can't heal soldiers as fast and they can't get back to the front. Overloading medical facilities is a very common strategy. For example, US military doctrine prefers shoot-to-maim over shoot-to-kill because it takes more resources to heal a person than it does to bury them.

Oddly enough, you would want many, many grains of salt. Since you sweat so much in the desert you need to be fairly careful to replenish electrolytes to avoid an imbalance.
I use YouTube enhancement suite and have cinema mode always on. I can't see recommended videos, I can't see comments and I can't see the thumbnail. When I can I just use VLC though.
