Why you may ask? Simple : Bloat, battery life and the UI (the last one is subjective)
Since I updated my Oneplus 8T to Android 12 I felt like something was wrong. The constant notification to access location for nearby devices despite me not wanting to (no option to disable that easily). All the fucking preinstalled apps. And the ColorOS layout.
Since this version I searched and searched for a good custom rom with good battery life and for now I settled with Jaguar. It's based on Android 11 and the developer is very security conscious. You can even lock the bootloader if you donate.
The problem for now is SafetyNet. I can't launch all my apps because of that.
Am I the only one who felt like this since this update ?
Hi everybody, I recently got a Roccat Burst Pro Air which has a battery in it since its wireless.
The problem here is that I cannot see the battery level on upower by any means because I think it never was developped for linux as roccat does not support linux for its devices (don't know if its in the kernel or in upower itself?).
I'm not a driver developer but a web developer. Maybe I can try to support this device in order to expose the battery level. But I don't actually know where to start.
Can anyone guide me?
Thank you in advance!
Hello ! I am actually running a dual boot with Windows and Arch. I have 5 disks (3 HDD and 2 nvme SSD) with this partitioning. These are the drives : HDDs :
And this is the partition scheme that I used so far
Some problems that I encounter are disk space problems on the Linux SSD because sometimesvI want to install demanding games on it.
Do you have any advice on what I can do to make this scheme better?
Thank you in advance.
