@hexbear.netSometimes I try to go to reddit to talk about my special interests but holy shit everyone there is so fucking dumb. It's not even politics sometimes, just terminal reddit brain and absolutely 0 media literacy. Hexbear is also the only "social media" site I've been a part of that isn't just constantly enshittified.
I think its like 5 thousand that she's constantly paying off but somehow never gets lower. Hopefully one day I'll make enough to just pay it off but that probably won't be anytime soon.
When I was young and naive I called an ambulance for my mom who was having chest pains and I think she's still paying for it. Absolutely batshit that onlookers need to make split second judgement calls about a potentially dying persons financials.
uh oh, I do so many of the things in this thread. Now I'll never become a beloved hexbear microcelebrity :(
I keep wanting to try DQX or Dragon's Dogma online but assume the installation and translation process is a hassle. Frontier would be amazing to play too, but I don't know if that has an active translation.
FFXIV, Guild Wars 1 and 2.
FFXIV the only one I still play. I own GW2 Secrets of the Obscure, but I dunno if I'll ever bother to play it.
Playing Mass Effect: Andromeda and it reminded me of a little thing that really bugs me in media like it where people settle or exile or crash on a completely isolated location fraught with danger and immediately institute capitalism. Like not even for one second is mutual cooperation and resource sharing, even temporarily while getting a foothold, entertained.
