@lemmy.worldAfter exporting my photos for migration to Synology, Google gave me 95 2GB zip files to download. I tried downloading directly into my mapped network drive, but the speed was super slow. My tip for you is if you are familiar with docker, you can spin up a Firefox container and map your desired network drive to the container. If you download from the Docker container, it will use the NAS's wired internet connection rather than your PC's WiFi connection. It is a much faster process, cutting it from days to hours for me. I'm sure most of you would have thought of this right away, but after 25 manual downloads, this was a huge relief for me.
Is anyone willing to share a docker compose and config file for a qbittorrent, qbit manage, and cross seed stack? I'm having trouble figuring out how to get them all to play nicely together.
With the stories about data from period tracking apps being shared with law enforcement, I was wondering if there was a self hosted alternative I could host for my daughter. My searches so far have not returned any good results. Thanks!
I know everyone is still fiddling around with setup, but I have tried and tried to get my own compose working but have had no luck. If anyone can share their working compose, it would be really helpful. I have an existing Nginx Proxy Manager container serving as my reverse proxy, so I don’t want to install the nginx container in the sample compose either. Thanks!
