@lemmy.worldGiven the strong genetic link between wefwef and Apollo, I think it would be great to acknowledge and describe the origins of wefwef’s UX design. In a few months, there will (hopefully) be new signups who never used Reddit, and never had the opportunity to use the awesome piece of software Christian developed over the better part of a decade. I’d like to see the legacy and history of Apollo live on, even if it’s just that iconic icon and a few sentences.
Maybe we could have an “Ode to Apollo” somewhere under the settings menu?
Quite surprised this doesn’t work by default as wefwef is a web app, but it would be great if tapping at the top of the screen would automatically take you back to the top of the list currently being displayed.
I didn’t realise how often I used that feature in Apollo until I started using wefwef (which feels like home from home, except when it doesn’t 😂). Apollo had the added bonus of tapping again to take you back to where you were in the list before you tapped to go to the top!
Not a priority, but definitely a nice to have in my book.
