@artemis.campIt's built-in to the Explorer plugin. I set the Indexer to Everything and personally use the et prefix for index searches.
And it will get worse with WASM. At least now we can see the entirity of the code and even patch it if required, and WASM might make that way harder.
That's why I use Flow Launcher with the Everything plugin (now integrated on the Explorer).
Everything is an absolute godsend to deal with Windows' shitty indexer.
Machines don't Lear like humans yet.
Our brains are a giant electrical/chemical system that somehow creates consciousness. We might be able to create that in a computer. And the day it happens, then what will be the difference between a human and a true AI?
I don't think it's a RAM issue, unless Firefox eats 16GB of RAM. I mainly use Pop!_OS, a *nix distro, so maybe I messed up some package install that conflicts with Firefox in some way, but I haven't figured out which one.
I also experienced this, and immediately after a reinstall, Firefox decided that it didn't like to be reinstalled and bricked my OS. I had to completely reinstall it because the boot section was nowhere to be found, and barely any data was salvageable.
So, even if Chrome is bad, I prefer to use Ungoogled Chromium or other chromium forks that don't nuke my computer than using a browser that has consistently given me extreme problems.
Anything is a nail if you hammer it hard enough.
Though modern JS is way better than what it was before, and in my opinion is evolving in a good direction. It also pays my bills, so I couldn't complain even if I wanted.
