How to crosspost on Lemmy?
Title
What is the syntax to cross post? E.g. I post to c/linux and I want to crosspost to c/technology
I couldn't find this documented anywhere.
Follow up question: can it work across instances and how do you do it?

This is the crosspost button. If you're using a mobile app, some of them don't support crossposting yet. Click this button, choose the community you want to crosspost to, and voila. And yes, it works across instances.
When I click that it looks essentially the same as editing the post. Do I just scroll to the bottom and pick the new community?
Back before Reddit had a crosspost feature, we'd just repost it to another sub with [x-post] in the title and post a link to the previous post in the comments.
Y’all, I’m aware what wefwef is. It’s my daily driver. My question is: What in the world does it have to do with the topic of this thread? Your comment seems like a total non-sequitur
The topic is crossposting on Lemmy. Wefwef is a Lemmy client. I want to crosspost using wefwef.
My logic dictates this is related to this topic, isn't yours?
Btw, thanks for teaching me a new word - sequitur
Yes, I’m currently using it. But what in the world does it have to do with this thread’s topic?
