It's so funny how much the weird thing pisses off conservatives.
It inflames their deepest insecurities.
I found it to be an extremely pro-war speech. But I doubt Trump had problems with that part of the speech.
It wasn't a bad speech, we're just not the target audience. Going "tough" is to counter bs notions that a woman would be soft on military (and it is bs, but your fellow voters are idiots). It's something Hillary tried too, but she was significantly less likable so she mostly came across as shrill.
She's banking on more progressive voters to assume she's not really so hawkish, or in my case, focus on the domestic issues I agree with.
Some sentences are dispersed throughout the speech, but the majority are between the 30:00 - 36:00 minute marks.
"Ratings machine!"

"The DNC outperformed the RNC in a category that will probably vex Trump
TV ratings for conventions are far from an accurate indicator of who wins elections. But those numbers could very well upset a certain ratings-obsessed Republican."
The weirdest thing here is: the sentence structure looks like a staffer! Even his staffers are writing weird shit now!
My "he called me, I didn't call him" shirt is raising questions already answered by the shirt
It's really amusing watching the hosts trying to figure out when they can get a word in and wrap up his interviews, he used to do it more frequently and wouldn't shut the fuck up.
It says a lot that even though he clearly didn't type this out himself (too much punctuation, too little all-caps yelling - so he probably dictated it to a relatively normal human being), it still comes across as weird. Not even being smoothed out by someone else can take away the weird edges.
no fracking
What a weird thing to put first in his list of things Kamala Harris didn't talk about.
