And it is absolutely not over, to be clear. Not only will they push this shit again the moment the election is over, given a Trump victory, they also have ongoing open recruitment efforts to hire loyalists into positions throughout the government - "properly vetted and trained personnel" to enact their (already worked out and published) policy.
It's amazing they put this out in the first place. The Heritage Foundation has been putting out the reports in this series for decades, but this is the first one where they went full mask off on conservative policy. They really thought they won and "real America" would love it with Trump cruising to victory.
Trump still says he's going to be a dictator, right? And still calls immigrants vermin? And still says he's going to bomb Mexico? And still wants to pull out of NATO? And still loves Putin?
Oh, also he's still a rapist and a convicted felon, right?
I'm just saying, there's a lot of other things to talk about here.

Why should the onus fall on OP to accommodate everyone's tin-foil hat? It is literally not hard to put https://archive.ph/ in front of any URL to get it yourself. There are also browser plugins if that's too much work. See also: 12ft.io
Your home instance runs Tesseract (https://tes.leminal.space) which includes multiple archive link options on every relevant post. They're, like, right there. I know that because I wrote the thing and included that feature because I'm sick of people whining "paywalled".
So instead of whining "Paywalled!" and expecting everyone to accommodate you, maybe try putting in the slightest bit of effort first.

I see you added two paragraphs so let me respond to those separately.
You're making a lot of assumptions about my environment. I'm using an Android app, and I see no archive link options anywhere. Nor do I even browse my "home" instance, it was just an arbitrary choice to make an account there.
12ft.io doesn't even work on most websites for me. I've tried, but it would always break the page or just give me an error.
Lastly, only OP can put an archive link in the body. So even if I archived something and shared the link, it's still less accessible than OP including a link in the body.
I am glad they’re going to re-brand, that just means any policy work that has any project 2025 themes in it will be open for criticism
