Ukraine’s foreign minister says he is seeking “common ground” in talks with his Chinese counterpart on ending his country’s war with Russia.
I hope Russia keeps all territories it has captured if Peace is achieved. Now, how will Neo-Nazi battalions like Azov react? Will there be blowback like other times the BurgerReich has armed rightwing extremists? Will Zelensky meet Prigozhin? Or will they still be under CIA control/support and do occasional terrorist attacks against Russia.

Pro-Russian commentary admits for some time now that the Donbass region is not enough to ensure safety. The war wont end soon, they want a bigger buffer. Some say it includes Odessa and Kiev, some even say 60-80% Ukraine except the far west.
Point is though everyone understands if the war "ends" now it wont stop the Nazis from continuing their terrorist attacks.
But also the other most important point is Russia can't actualy enforce honesty and neutrality from Ukraine. The US will definitely rebuild the Ukrainian army eventualy which is also why the rethoric of denazification and demilitarization i.e destroy their army so that rebuilding is impossible in the short term and in the long term Ukraine wont have a population/society to support a real army regardless of US funding.
Zelensky is irrelevant, westerners don't care about him for a long time now. Ukraine is only a myth about western values and evil Putler and any "legitimate" Ukrainian leader can replace him.
How is he holding on? Who knows but Nuland and her team definitely protected him from the Zaluzhny coup.
The only common ground I can think China will accept is that however the war ends, China swoops in and gets contracts for reconstruction.
