Geert Wilders eyes former spy chief Dick Schoof as Dutch prime minister

“It will be a surprise to many that I’m standing here,” said likely new PM at press conference.
He previously led his country’s General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) and prior to that was national terrorism chief. He also steered the national authority on migration decision and services between 1999 and 2003, which likely caught the eye of radical-right, anti-Islam Wilders.
