Great question! Yes, they represent workspaces, with the spaceman indicating which one I’m currently in. It’s not shown in the picture, but I also set it up so that if something was active in another workspace it would change to a rocket ship, indicating that I should “go” there.
The colours are amazing. I've been looking for a new scheme for mine and this is so inspiring.
I love the combination of the color scheme, the wallpaper, the cleanliness with rounded corners and the icons for the virtual desktops.
