Same with FreshRSS - I set it up years ago and basically forgot about maintaining it. It's been running doing exactly what I needed for the whole time. It might not be the best option, but I can't really think of anything more I need.
I'll have to check out moRSS.
TT-RSS is fantastic, providing you hold your nose and wear as asbestos suit if you ever dare ask a question or raise a valid issue. The dev is... well, I'm not a fan. I won't use it out of principle.
FreshRSS is a good-looking and skinnable alternative with a good Docker image, but I had issues with the inability to flush old items. Has a decent web UI.
These days I'm using Sismics and the web UI.
Tt-rss though the developer can be a bit abrasive if you go asking for help. Been using it since the icanhaz days.
I can't force myself to migrate it to Docker, it's the one remaining service idont't have dockerized yet. The migration path looked like it would take half of a day
Export your feed to an opml file, and import it into the new installation. Your read/unread history will be lost, but that's about it.
Things may have changed in the meantime though, you never know. A lot can happen in 9 hours in the wild and fast-moving industry of RSS readers.
any site you usually check for news or update. News sites, blogs etc. I like to have a single place where to go and check.
I’m using FreshRSS with Reeder 5 as my iOS reader.
Main reason is that I can make feeds of changes on websites etc, things that aren’t an actual RSS feed.
Was using moonmoon for a long while but it’s been abandoned for a longer while and I recently switched to FreshRSS. So far so good, it has support for fever api, so I can sync it up to Unread on my iPhone.
It has been pretty great. Only downside has been some of the API behavior, but FreshRSS isn’t to blame for that I don’t think.
