I love the little line in there about Hitler living in the middle ages, adds world building to the UC that 79 years have passed since the new calendar rolled out and such.
Also, there's Duker Iq in Victory Gundam who goes on about wanting to revive the Middle Ages tradition of motorcycling.

Tomino-helmed shows in general. I'm currently watching Daitarn 3 and one of the main characters is Beautiful Tachibana - like her first name is actually "Beautiful" lol
But they call it 0079, so they are planning on a four digit century, which is weird as hell but I like it
