Looking at the product page, this appears to be a sensor/indicator you put on a camera/monitor to determine if the shot is level. It probably has a microcontroller doing sensor fusion of gyroscopic/accelerometer sensors to present a smooth result.
It's either that or has something to do with their follow focus devices. It's shaped like a their remote devices but I'm not sure what sort of data it would relay.
You nailed it! It’s an IMU sensor with accel/gyro fusion. Then it uses a Rp2040 (pi pico chip) and a touchscreen to manage settings.
