There's probably a support group for people whos rise from mediocrity was fueled entirely by zealous 10 year olds.

Is there some reference I'm not getting? Or is this just a "there are more things in heaven and earth, buddy, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" kinda thing?

Oh, I was just thinking about how old all the youtubers and steamers are getting. While they enjoy the small fortune they made back in the 2010s their fan bases are also aging. The realizations from both groups must be hitting them sometime soon here.

Ah! Fair point! Yeah, I guess retried / has-been youtubers are going to be a weird demographic. I wonder if they'll do nostalgia fuelled tours of student unions or coffeeshops as the kids that loved them become adults? The ones that aren't already multimillionaires.

Do you haven any examples? Everyone I’m thinking of is still going relatively strong in one way or another. I also may not watch enough of the type of YouTube you’re talking about.

Especially if they are still going strong. The fact that my ticket to the upper crust was paid by mom/dads credit card of my pre-pubescent audience would make me conflicted. The audience who is now entering the workforce and will never reach my level of success. Shit would require a few therapy sessions.
