Protesters denounced the blatant hypocrisy of the New Zealand government’s decision to designate Hamas as a terrorist organisation, while supporting Israel’s genocidal slaughter in Gaza.
It's interesting how the governments showing themselves as the most racist if all by supporting a genocide being commit along etnic lines and parroting the most racist takes possible (the racist myth of racial guilt were Palestinians are guilty for the action so Hams, the racist idea that all jews support Israel hence critcism of Israel is anti-semitic al9ng wuth the racist idea that action by Jews should be judged differently because of their etnicity) are almost anglo-saxon (the big exception being Germany, but then again Germany & Racism are the greatest iconic duo ever).
I blame the heavy, heavy use of a certain kind of propaganda in those nations, the same that gave rise to Trumpism and Brexiters.

Unconditional support for the Israeli government is one of the many things most Western governments do against the will of the majority of the people to not get on the bad side of the US global hegemony.
