Thinking of coming out of gamer retirement to replay Oblivion
It's got a great soundtrack and pretty pleasant vibes. Probably be a mage or spellsword.
The janky levelling is a lot worse, but it evens out with how uninspired all the main quests are.
Hehe yeah but at least it doesn't have Skyrims terrible Civil War quests.
Also I forget how bad vanilla Oblivion is because I mod the hell out of it.

Don't forget Daggerfall, that has a very randomly generated Medieval soap opera feel.
Take the uncanniness and unintentional hilarity in stride and it will be one of the best games you've ever played.
Skyblivion is slated for release next year.
Not holding my breath for Skywind though, it's been in development for over a decade.
