All aboard the
Testing your own custom app in your own sublemmy and having people comment on your test is so heartwarming as a dev :F
So if this is supposed to be an animation it's not working on sync, but I see the image fine.
You are supposed to click on the image. Then it would open until a new tab in sync showing the gif.
isn't the app still in beta? Maybe lj didnt implemnt a way to open up webp links in the app or something yet.
I get the same thing. I can see images for other posts, but this one just shows the link until I click to open the post

It happens for me too, even though I haven't purchased it yet. I think not rendering the post in the list is a bug.
That's (likely) because the shape of the spoon is distorting the image. as would be expected from a double curved surface with manufacturing and use defects. additionally, you are used to spherical image distortion being center focused, but this is offset towards the viewer, and the "sphere" is vertically compressed, more like an ellipsoid. Just saying.
Example 3d model setup, not identical, but close enough im hoping: https://i.imgur.com/OQZecvM.png
lmao im "at work" sorry i have nothing better do to
Do not try and bend the spoon, thatâs impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truthâĶ there is no spoon. Then youâll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
This was in Rhino 6. Never really got into Blender, the GUI is just... not for me. And i don't need any of most of what it does. Modeled the spoon real quick, downloaded a random cat model, squished it up to "pose" it (poorly). Set the spoon to a reflective material and moved things around d until I got what I wanted. Rhino 6 uses Cycles render engine e for the live raytracing, same as Blender though.
hahaha, I figured as much but this was way too funny to not "have to prove" if that makes sense haha. have a great day
Hey, I'm not sure if there's other places to verify this, but, will the app allow you to limit and/or compress large image posts?
I've been using Lemmy on limited data recently and sometimes it just eats it all.
Sorry if it wasn't clear enough, I mean being able to load low resolution images on the feed (similar to how videos and gifs had SD and optional HD resolution on reddit's version), not disabling images entirely.
