China has committed “serious human rights violations” against Uyghur Muslims in its northwestern region of Xinjiang, which may amount to “crimes against humanity” according to a long-awaited report released Wednesday by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

"The latter pertains in particular to a range of documents that form part of the so-called “China Cables”, the “Xinjiang Papers”, the “Karakax List”, the “Urumqi Police database” and, most recently, the “Xinjiang Police Files”, which in whole or in part have been made public by various media outlets and researchers or have been made available to OHCHR. For a number of these documents, OHCHR was able to take steps to verify their authenticity, resulting in assessment that they are highly likely to be authentic and therefore could be credibly relied upon in support of other information. For others, such verification was not possible, even if OHCHR has no counter-indication that these documents would be inauthentic. OHCHR has not relied on any of these documents as a sole source to make any findings. In this assessment, reference to such documents is included where its content comports with that from other sources of information." (Footnote 8).

So.... we couldn't corroborate it but we'll use it as evidence anyway.

No matter what happens now comrades we can expect anti communist sentiment to increase along with anti Asian hate. So - especially if you also happen to be an Asian communist in a western country - it might be a good idea to keep our heads low for a while until the libs go back to slobbering over the US and their sweetheart zelenky again.

......That would be me LOL. Well, I'm fucked. I'm in KKKanada, and like Murikkka, we're on a steady trajectory towards Fascism. If the govt doesn't round us up, the chud ass people here will. Maybe they'll shoot up Vancouver and Toronto's Chinatowns, and maybe even bring in some nice strong ropes to lynch us like the good ol' days... In the mean time, KKKanada may seem relatively civil and peaceful, especially compared to our southern neighbor, but I see the hatred and xenophobia, and I am staying vigilant, cuz I am genuinely anticipating things to devolve into a full on pogrom here if things go really bad. I mean, they've already done it to First Nations people (still is, in Wet'suwet'en land in BC), and the Japanese diaspora here during WW2 were also rounded up just like in Murikkka. Just ask David Suzuki... Also, the bulk of the world's ultra far-right Ukrainian diaspora is here, and their numbers will probably swell once Putin beat they asses and force a bunch of them to flee here. Ain't that nice? Ukrainian Nazis will be part of the lynch mob, and they can probably teach a thing or two to the Klanadians from their time lynching Roma people back home. The Nazis this government helped arm, fund, and train will come back to bite us in the ass.
