Can we please change the rule to post a meme or content or something
Isn't the point to generate more content instead of shitty text posts that just say rule?

Yes I love the text posts that only say "rule" and nothing else /s
You post memes for a reason.
Lol. I agree it's dumb, but I'll disagree on it being a rule until it's a lot more common of an issue. ❤️
Two different comments reference "posting an image" or "meme" and none of the comments reference text posts. I'm so lost.
okay well its pretty clear the community disagrees with your point so your best bet is to find a different community with more stringent rules 👍
I don't need to leave, just pointing out literally the smallest annoyance. You should be able to critique the things you enjoy, this isn't a republican space. If leftists know anything it's critiques.
I have more upvotes than comments disagreeing, so I don't know where you got "pretty clear" from.
Are you the admin? You don’t speak for me, and I’m with OP on this. Maybe you’re in the wrong place, telling others to leave…
You can post a video of a clown giving a Marxist analysis of tea cups while riding upside-down on a pentacycle for all the rule cares. But you have to post before you leave.
I'm aware of what the rule is. I'm asking what the point of the rule is if people are just publishing text posts that only say "rule". It "goes against the culture" says the other comments but it didn't happen on the r/196 subreddit. Either way reddit can go fuck itself anyway, this instance is 2 weeks old that's not enough time to develop a culture.
Edit: link the video, coward
Bold of you to assume there's a point to any rule. At best they're there so you think before you break them.
I agree tbh. Wasn’t that what it was on Reddit or did all the useless text posts get downvoted to oblivion?
Just to clarify: to me at least, a "useless text post" just says rule and nothing else.
What the other user found were text posts with actual statements on r/196
