I have coworkers that think Russian hypersonic missiles are useless because Ukraine can easily intercept them. They also think Aircraft carriers becoming obsolete because of missiles is Russian propaganda.
These people are so deluded once Ukraine capitulates, I'm sure they'll congratulate themselves with the consolation prize that at least Ukraine killed a lot of Russians. They'll also use that as a justification for Russia not continuing their alleged grand European invasion.
I think a lot of them will take the attitude of Ukraine being "asiatic hordes" and that's why they lost, despite all the western backing. I imagine practically every Ukraine Flag profile pic will be frothing at the mouth with hatred for them 6 months after the war is over. It's like a game to them, or a movie, and if the movie doesn't go the way the popcorn eating masses demand the movie goes, they flip out.
