I am really tired of this piece of shit getting himself involve in things that he have no remote understanding of.
I'm willing to bet even the people he hires at SpaceX feels the same about any input he offers
Exactly. For a while he was doing really well at selling himself as visionary investing in cool technologies when no one else was willing to. Then he started to comment on shit he really has no idea about and it all went down hill fast. Certainly after the whole insulting a cave rescuer as a paedophile.
But I havent seen Jeff bezos or Warren Buffet doing the same shit as him. I know they control the media too but why he can be like them? Lol
His family made their fortune because of Apartheid. It makes sense that he'd sympathize with the occupiers.
You can take the Afrikaner out of South Africa, but you can't take the apartheid out of the Afrikaner.
Fuck Elon Musk. Fuck ignorant lazy billionaires. The mega wealthy are ALL the problems wrong with this world.
yep especially the arrogance. sure he can share his wisdom, but maybe first go for an internship in the ukrainian army, little elon π then I'll take it seriously
I think he wants Ukraine to fold so he can peddle his shitty inventions to Russia without pesky sanctions getting in the way, whilst styling himself as a great diplomat.

Quote from Walter Isaacson, the author of the book this claim originated from:
To clarify on the Starlink issue: the Ukrainians THOUGHT coverage was enabled all the way to Crimea, but it was not. They asked Musk to enable it for their drone sub attack on the Russian fleet. Musk did not enable it, because he thought, probably correctly, that would cause a major war.
Starlink was totally fine with being used for defensive purposes. Is recovering Russia occupied Crimea not a defensive act?
Also that war was already raging on.
Also I wasn't quoting any book. I was online when this shit happened. Preventing a drone strike against a Russian naval fleet in the black sea.
Your claim was that he disabled it. He did not disable it. It was not enabled in the first place. Enabling it would be against US sanctions to Russia.
Lets see how many downvotes directly quoting the source gets me.
urging the world to 'sympathize with the Russian occupiers'
And we should have some sympathy for the Russian boys as well as the Ukrainian boys, because Russian boys, because boys didnβt ask to be on their frontline. They have to be. So thereβs a lot of sons not coming back to their parents, and I think most of them donβt hate the other side. Itβs sort of like as this saying comes from World War I, itβs like young boys who donβt know each other killing each other on behalf of old men that do know each other. The hellβs the point of that.
Elon Musk's 'advice' to 'stop resisting Russia'
Well, I think that what is likely to happen, which is really pretty much the way it is, is that something very close to the current lines will be how a ceasefire or truce happens. But you just have a situation right now where whoever goes on the offensive will suffer casualties at several times the rate of whoeverβs on the defense because youβve got defense in depth, youβve got minefields, trenches, anti-tank defenses. Nobody has air superiority because the anti-aircraft missiles are really far better than the aircraft. Theyβre far more of them. And so neither side has air superiority. Tanks are basically death traps, just slow moving, and theyβre not immune to anti-tank weapons. So you really just have long range artillery and infantry ranges. Itβs World War I all over again with drones, thrown old drones, some drones there.
He βadvisedβ Volodymyr Zelenskyy to abandon the counteroffensive and agree to peace talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin
Look, I think I would just recommend do not send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in trenches, whether he talks to Putin or not, just donβt do that. Whoever goes on the offensive will lose massive numbers of people and history will not look kindly upon them.
Most of this is just general "war is bad for everyone" and the old "the ones fighting the war aren't the one who want the war". It's true but it's also really nothing new or especially smart.
Look, I think I would just recommend do not send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in trenches, whether he talks to Putin or not, just donβt do that
This part though is what I find problematic. This way of framing the current situation suggests a few things:
It also completely ignores a few things:
Also: Telling a nation to just roll over and be invaded is such an american thing to suggest.
Edit: This also misses the whole thing where other countries might accept you as a refugee if you desert the russian army, if you really didn't want to fight in this war.
So, yeah. The article accurately represents the source, based on the quotes you shared. There's a lot more appealing to people's emotions in the source, but he's still saying the same thing.
"Think of the flower of Ukrainian youth!" sounds much better than "stop resisting and let the Russians occupy part of your country", though
He is mistaken in it not being Russiaβs choice
Itβs not the choice of the Ukrainian boys because they are being invaded
The invaders do have the choice to march against Moscow
Why dont you go march against Washington then over their support for Israel.
Easier said than done
They aren't being conscripted into a war, so your analogy doesn't work.
If I was forced to fight, I'd rather turn on the one that forces me than on the ones they tell me to fight.
This war isn't going to stop until Putin gets threatened to do so by his own population.
Because the west sure as hell isn't going to let Ukraine just roll over and let Russia get away with yet an other territory that does not belong to them.
Not American but why would I support Hamas? Israel is more tolerable of gays ππ (best I could do for finger guns)
And Iβm not the one killing Palestinians so itβs not comparable
Having said that there has already been a march on Moscow that they could have joined
Maybe the rat can visit the front line for a couple of months and see what Russia has done before chiming in.
This is, was this POS thought all along and is another proof for his total lack of empathy and inability to think ahead.
The world should sympathise with the idea of sending Muskrat with an one way ticket to Mars.
Can we start a movement to incentivize one politician or someone with a lot of representation behind them to simple tell the bird brain to "sit down, shut up and stay still"?
That is just too quick and painless. Have it seized and baned from flying until further inspection. Rinse, repeat, at least 50 times. Charge him fees for having the plane parked at whatever airport it may be at. Then have the airplane banned of ever flying again.
Also do the same with any new planes he might buy out of frustration.
Say it is because of security for his own life.
It's in the description. https://www.txtreport.com/news/2023-11-11-%22we-must-sympathize-with-the-russian-guys%22--musk-%22advised%22-zelensky-to-meet-with-putin.Hklj17fTm6.html
Why does this quote seem... Inaccurate? I've seen Muskrat speak a few times and he's seemed to have a basic understanding of the English language? Never heard him discuss the flower of youth?
Yes. I advise him (Zelensky - ed.) not to send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in the trenches... I think he should meet Putin in person. The reason why I proposed some kind of truce or peace a year ago was that I predicted almost exactly what would happen, namely: many people would die due to the lack of tangible changes on the front line and the loss of the flower of Ukrainian and Russian youth," he said
I listened to Lex Friedman's podcast with Elon Musk as guest, an he used that expression several times. It seems like it's more like a slavic expression. So I don't know, perhaps he got it straight from Putin or perhaps he's just deliberately using an expression that resonates more with Russians and Ukrainians.
It's from a +2 hour podcast he did with Lex Fridman. Transcript in the description. You only need to listen the first 20 minutes though. Good luck trying to find him saying the things he's accused of here.
Itβs insane to me how many peoples opinions are based solely on bullshit headlines and rage comments. Itβs fucking embarrassing. Read the fucking article and then ALSO think for yourself. Donβt let the retard internet mobs think for you.

Ukrainian security and world order depends on Elon Musk shutting the fuck up. If he doesn't, his money won't stop motivated governments from shutting him down.
