Can confirm the denial. Archery also works a set of muscles not often used (unless you do rows), and Portsmouths can be surprisingly tiring with 40lb + non compound bows.

As someone who's done historical swordfighting I can confirm that you will overheat in your gear and it will be full of your fermented juices
