I love how AI went from being a cool fun thing to play around with, to something everyone now hates because capitalism can't help but ruin everything.
AI could be such a neat, useful thing. But nope, capitalists can't help themselves. Gotta use it to grift the internet with low quality content and steal from artists.
Also Capitalism trying to shoehorn AI into every product possible. Why does my work software need an AI built in? It won't help us employees or the company, what would help is to fuck off with the 'do more with less' and pay us more. But no, someone somewhere got paid to add a worthless implementation of AI to our software.

half the engineers (myself included) said "this is stupid and worthless" and product said "it adds :stonks-up: value so we have to" and so even more labor was sacrificed to The Line Which Must Always Go Up. and yet no one ever gets on board when i start talking about unionizing smh
