The contribution I read is: If you didn't have specific evidence or context to add, then throwing in a 'don't trust women claiming SA' is counterproductive. May not have been OP's intent, but that's what a vague distrust of the women's stories sounds like.
How do you thaw/use a half loaf? I think a frozen slice toasts very well, which is why do that.
Homemade bread: 2-3 days in a paper bag on the counter, or slice and freeze. Generic bread: Usually freeze and then toast a couple slices at a time, refrigerate if we're using it faster, didn't care about ideal taste/texture as much.
Yuck, it does sound very blatant:
“I think it’s just pretty suspicious to see teenage girls dressed in club wear at 9:00, 10:00 in the morning paying for a hotel room during the week,” she replied.
She spoke about witnessing a pregnant woman being beaten to a bloody pulp by her trafficker in the bathroom and how housekeeping staff came each morning to remove garbage cans filled with condoms and bloody towels.
she encountered many of the same hotel staff repeatedly. Those employees witnessed her trafficker being frequently violent with her and “loud sounds of abuse could often be heard from the room,” the lawsuit alleges.
And accepted up the chain even when employees tried to report it:
Vanessa Cole, a general manager at one of the hotels between 2011 and 2012, said in her deposition that prostitution was a “consistent problem” that she reported “up the chain,” including to Moyer. She said Moyer responded by saying: “yes, we understand we have to, you know, clean up the place, but we also need to sell rooms.”
Yeah, if you don't want the next dev (or your future self) to accidentally undo that corner case you fixed, better put a unit test on it.
Whoops (edited). Actually, it was impressive when he was reaching in from the top of the frame to water that we never saw his pants.
An initial investigation revealed that the truck and the bicycle were traveling in the same direction on Mount Auburn Street and the truck was turning onto DeWolf Street at the time of the crash.
And from the posted article:
On Friday, Nguyen and the truck driver were both traveling in the same direction along Hampshire Street when the driver made a right turn onto Portland Street, striking Nguyen at the intersection, according to the Middlesex district attorney’s office.
Yes bike lanes, ideally separated so nobody can park on them. I wish police would ticket for turning without signaling. Dream works is transit designed around bikes and trains; adding bike areas to a car centered design will always produce hazards.
Also please never ride next to a truck.
So each universe just contains a simulation of all of the worst, most generic parts of itself, recreated by AIs, recursively? We're the gods of a new universe being born that's just social media bots posting for each other.
