I'm sorry, I wasn't clear in my original post, I wasn't speaking of audience or earnings I was speaking of impactfulness and usefulness. But to be clear I find zero fault in her end products and every new video showcases how her topics and methodologies are maturing. She's killing it.
I absolutely believe she is capable of producing products that get the US Congress involved and laws repealed or passed.
In fact my only critique of her is that she is still on Twitter.
Systematic and systemic failures of Senior and Upper Management, pretty much at every step.
If Jenny ever pursues a career in investigative journalism, she'll eclipse Nader.
No bro, I've been here 5 years and these people are not intelligent. Sure there are intelligent people, but taken as a whole Floridians are suffering a mental and intellectual disadvantage.
Incompetence is a fact of life here, and literally every single waking hour of every single day is affected by it in some way.
I get your sentiment, but after traveling around the US for a couple decades, hands-down-bar-none these are the dumbest people (en masse) that I have ever encountered.
[edit] Just go to any grocer and stand at the self-checkout and just watch for an hour. Minimum .25% of the people will be operating at the absolute limit of their mental capacity. No shit. It's amazing and horrifying.
Local conditions huh?
Well it's 35°C / 93°F, there's almost no breeze, very few clouds, the sun is relentlessly beating down, humidity is over 90% and it's fucking miserable. Living on a sailboat in the subtropics can suck the life out of you sometimes.
You know, now that I think about, I might kill myself.
(GIANT /S) Don't call the authorities
Good. These people are legitimately not intelligent. Not in a funny haha way, not in a punching down way, just cold straight facts.
I've never in my life or in my travels met a nationality of people as intellectually disadvantaged as the nation of Florida.
Absolutely in no way should they be allowed to shape any policy or procedure, including their own.
I've used Lets Encrypt for years and years, in fact it's been at least 6?. LE with the encryptbot?, automate the entire process, and then completely forget about it until someone posts on Lemmy asking about it.
It's been long enough I've forgotten the proper names of the software and I would have to go back through my notes to recreate it.
Just checked the logs and it's fine.
Don't pay for shit.
