What the hell do I need a copilot for?? I've been flying this baby solo since I got my first computer in 1996!

Some people just had shitty parents and it shows. Unfortunately, they appear to be passing on those shitty parenting lessons to another generation.
As an Eagle Scout & leader in my Son's Boy Scout troop, an avid hiker, backpacker and general outdoor enthusiast... this is incredibly upsetting. This type of vandalism can't be undone. I hope they find them and throw a rock...I mean the book at them. Or both.
Part of the Scout Outdoor Code is "...to be considerate in the outdoors." which means treat the land and other land users with respect and follow the principles of outdoor ethics for all outdoor activities.
A head unit is the actual radio hardware in a car. Some of them can be replaced with after market hardware. Yes, when my phone is connected to the radio by Bluetooth, I have to keep the unit on and set to the Bluetooth input in order to hear notification sounds. If I have it off, or set to another input I won't hear any notifications that come in.
In my state it is against the law to hold your phone while you're driving so I keep it connected by bluetooth for calls. It's not a problem when I'm listening to music or podcasts which I frequently do. It's only an issue when I'm not listening to anything. I've looked into updating the car's software but it's already on the most current version.
Unfortunately I don't have Android Auto capability in my car but thanks for the reply. Maybe this will help someone with a similar problem.
I've really enjoyed The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Andor. Rogue One was fantastic. It's not all bad.
I could watch 4 hours of RotS but no way could I make it through 4 hours of Phantom Menace.
